Richard was born in Copenhagen to German-Danish parents. He was
therefore technically a German citizen until his father obtained Danish
citizenship on 27 Feb 1911.

LANGMANN - Richard Robert passed away peacefully July 31, 1992. Born
in Copenhagen, Denmark on March 4, 1904, he was a science graduate from
the University of Copenhagen. In 1943, after having worked for a number
of years in the advertising industry, he formed his own
advertising agency and after the end of the Second World War he founded
the Turistano travel agency in Denmark with branches serving the allied
occupation troops in Germany. Later, after coming to Canada in 1958, he
founded Turistano International in Vancouver and West Vancouver. He
leaves behind his loving wife Inger, sons Rudi (Inge) of Aldergrove and
Uno (Dianne) of Vancouver, daughter Pia (Jim) of Vancouver,
daughter-in-law Jytte of White Rock, eleven grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held, attended by
family members and close friends. The family wish to thank doctors and
staff at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver for their loving care.
