Title: Court Chaplain

Nicolaus was Imperial Chaplain at the Court in Vienna-Neustadt. A
colleague and companion of his, Aeneas Piccolomini (born 18 Oct 1405),
became Pope Pius II (1458-64).
In 1451 Nicolaus was sent as an emissary to Portugal by Emperor
Friedrich III to bring back the Princess Eleonora (daughter of Afonso V) who
was to wed Friedrich in Rome.
